Gymkidz Core Curriculum

A complete 6-year Progressive Curriculum developing key physical domains

Locomotor — Fundamentals of Movement

Locomotor skills form the foundation of movement. Through walking, running, jumping, climbing, and balancing on varied equipment, children develop body control, spatial awareness, and efficient movement patterns that support all future physical learning.

Two women with dark hair and red shirts support a young girl upside down, who is smiling and hanging from her legs on a metal bar in an indoor setting.

Axial training develops core strength, balance, and body control. Children learn to stabilise, rotate, stretch, and align their bodies through structured gymnastics-based movements, laying the groundwork for posture, coordination, and readiness for more complex physical challenges.

Axial — Fundamentals of Gymnastics

Coordination skills connect body and brain. Through ball skills and bilateral movement tasks, children develop timing, control, and the foundations for sports and complex movement.

Co-ordination — Fundamentals of Sports

Manipulative, Postural & Strength — Embedded Across the Programme

Strength, posture, and object control are intentionally integrated into every Gymkidz session. Through pushing, pulling, lifting, gripping, and stabilising, children build whole-body strength, endurance, and resilience—supporting real-world movement and long-term physical independence.

Every class is unique.

No repetition.

Continuous challenge.

Continuous growth.
