Gymkidz Core Curriculum

A complete 6-year Progressive Curriculum developing key physical domains

Locomotor

Develops foundational movement skills such as walking, running, jumping, climbing, and balancing. Children learn to control their bodies in space, manage risk safely, and build spatial awareness and confidence as they move independently and with purpose.

Strengthens core muscles and postural control through activities that promote stability, flexibility, and body alignment. Children build the strength needed to maintain balance, improve coordination, and support early gymnastics and overall physical readiness.

Axial

Enhances hand-eye and bilateral coordination through ball play and structured movement tasks. Children learn to use both sides of the body together, improving timing, control, and readiness for sports and complex physical activities.

Co-ordination

Manipulative/ Postural/ Strength

Builds upper- and lower-body strength, grip control, and postural endurance through pushing, pulling, lifting, and object manipulation. These skills support physical confidence, resilience, and the ability to participate comfortably in real-world physical tasks.

 Programme Options for your School

Full Programme

  • 45 minutes for Play Group, Nursery 1 and Nursery 2

    60 minutes for K1 and K2

  • Complete locomotor + Axial + coordination stations

  • 25 students across all classes combined.

Modified Plus Programme

  • 30 minutes for Play Group, Nursery 1, Nursery 2, K1 and K2

  • Locomotor + Co-ordination and Axial+ Co-ordination on alternate sessions

  • 35 students across all classes combined.

Modified Programme

  • 20 minutes for Play Group, Nursery 1, Nursery 2, K1 and K2

  • Locomotor and Axial stations on alternate sessions

  • 45 students across all classes combined.
